The town of Swampscott, settled in 1629, is a beautiful coastal community located 13 miles north of Boston on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Today, the town’s residents, population of over 13,000, can enjoy recreational watersports, beach going, and fishing. Residents have three modes of public transportation to commute into Boston - commuter rail, the subway and bus. The commuter rail train station is centrally located while the bus service has many locations throughout town.
